The Badge PIT (Personal Infrared Transmitter) operates as both a PIT and a standard ID badge holder.The method of attachment should adhere to internal protocol. This is generally round the neck via an anti-ligature lanyard or on a belt at waist level using a clip.The 216.1 Badge PIT is a Twin Code product. It has a large orange button in the middle which, when pressed, emits an Emergency alarm signal and a smaller orange button in the top corner of the unit which can be pressed to trigger an Assistance alarm signal.
