The P2 Battery PIT is a Personal Infrared Transmitter to be used by staff to activate the P2 System. It is recommended to be worn at waist level. The P2 Battery PIT is a Single Code PIT – it emits an Emergency alarm signal when the P2 PIT has been pulled from its retaining pin. When the P2 PIT has been pulled from the pin, infrared light is immediately transmitted to the receiver in the room. There is no need to point the P2 PIT directly at the receiver units for the alarm to trigger.This PIT has an Emergency Pull only, NO Assistance push.In addition, the transmitter features a battery level status LED, which shines through the top of the unit, giving the user a visual indication of the PIT’s power status - indicating if the unit needs its battery replaced.
