At Pinpoint we’re proud to recognise the expertise and contributions of our people. We’re pleased to announce updated job titles for two members of our Design and Development team, reflecting the important roles they play within the business and the skills they bring.

Mike Skillings - Design Engineer
Mike started working at Pinpoint in 2015 - initially in the Production department and then, just after a year later, in a Production Design role. Working primarily in production administration but also assisting with design projects as required, he has steadily built his technical knowledge while demonstrated strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach. His updated job title of Design Engineer reflects both his desire to take this technical ability even further and the responsibilities he already undertakes within the business.

Liam Irvine - Software Engineer
Liam joined Pinpoint in 2018 working in the Production department. In 2023 he followed his interest in software development by taking on the role of Junior Developer. Since then he has made a valuable contribution to the development and creation of software solutions and applications. Working primarily on high-level language projects, he has shown an impressive level of technical skill and commitment to delivering quality solutions for Pinpoint. His updated job title of Software Engineer recognises the value of his experience and the important role he plays within the team.

Commenting on the updates, Richard Gibson, Chief Technical Officer said:

"Mike and Liam have both recently joined my Design and Development team on an official basis and their job titles have been amended to more accurately reflect their positions in this new structure. I am very pleased to welcome them into the team and look forward to working more closely with them. Both individuals have made valuable contributions to the Company in their previous roles, and I am confident this will only increase going forward. I wish them every success, and fulfilment, in their new ventures."

Congratulations to both colleagues on their updated job titles. We thank them for their continued commitment and look forward to their ongoing success at Pinpoint.
