The Energizer Station CT for Perpetual PITs is the second-generation model of Pinpoint’s Energizer series. It is a unit designed specifically to “energize” or recharge the supercapacitor in a Perpetual PIT. Two PITs can be connected at the same time, and as well as charging them the Energizer is also capable of detecting faultswith the PITS connected.In lieu of a physical button, the Energizer CT boasts a capacitive touch pad to begin the energizing process. A smaller enclosure has also been introduced, as well as a new system to relay the status of the PITs connected.To “energize” a PIT, simply connect the Energizer cable(s) to the charge point on the PIT(s). Once connected,touch the orange circle in the centre of the unit to begin the energizing process. If the LED(s) illuminate and change from solid yellow to flashing yellow, your PITs are charging. If they then turn solid green, your PITs are ready to use. If however the LEDs are still illuminated solid yellow, illuminated red or alternating between the two then it has encountered a fault with the PIT.
