P2 Patient Call Buttons

P2 Patient Call Buttons

The P2 Patient Call Button is a wall-mounted unit designed to allow patients to quickly and easily request assistance from staff. Installed at convenient locations within the building, the single-button call provides a simple and reliable way for patients to summon help when required
Adaptable
Designed to suit different care environments, the P2 Patient Call Button can be configured with a single patient call button, or with an additional button for nursing staff to indicate when assistance has been provided.
Design
Designed for reliable performance, the P2 Patient Call Button provides a clear and straightforward interface, with a robust construction suited to demanding care environments.
Visuals
Clear button illumination provides an immediate visual indication of the call status, making it easy for patients and staff to identify when a call has been activated or attended to.

IP67 Certification

With IP67 certification offered as a variant, the P2 Patient Call Button can be sufficiently water resistant to be installed in bathroom facilities, delivering maximum coverage for high-risk units.

Keyless

Patient Call

RFID functionality allows calls to be reset quickly and easily using lightweight fobs, removing the need for physical keys and supporting efficient day-to-day operation.

  • Lightweight RFID fobs provide convenient call reset functionality
  • Different levels of control can be assigned according to staff requirements
  • Keyless operation helps reduce the risk of damage or vandalism

Durable Design

The P2 Patient Call Button features a robust, anti-vandal fascia designed to withstand the demands of everyday use and help reduce the risk of tampering or damage.

Designed for use in environments where exposure to moisture may occur, the unit is suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms and showers. The fascia also incorporates Biomaster Antimicrobial Product Protection, helping to inhibit the growth of bacteria on the device surface.

Additional Features

  • Illuminated buttons clearly indicate when a call has been activated
  • Single or dual-button configurations available, with an optional button for staff to indicate when a call has been attended
  • Antimicrobial Technology helps inhibit the growth of bacteria on the device
  • Shared or addressable options available for clear identification of the patient's location
Patient Call IMG
The P2 Call Button Series provides a way for staff or patients to initiate a call on the Pinpoint system from a static wall mounted point.
The Call Buttons are available in a range of configurations - all units can either be a master with its own unique address and
description in the message table - or may be slaved to another master unit in the same location (an IRU for example). The call buttons
themselves may also be specified with a single button/call level or a dual button call level - as well as with or without RFID, Note -
units specified without RFID MUST be slaved to a master unit.
Units specified with the RFID functionality will be able to function with the Pinpoint RFID tags for resetting the call button and also
arm/disarm functions. Intelligent reset tags which work with the Reset Hub may also be used with the Call Button and will have the
same functionality (ie. Level specific reset) - or a general unit reset tag is available

Mounting
The Call Button Unit should be mounted in a convenient place where it can be triggered quickly if needed as per containment
specification and industry standards. Consideration should be given to the condition of the surface to which the unit is to be mounted:
it should be free from damp and moisture, not be subject to any shock or vibration, and be secure enough to allow a good fixing for the
Call Button Unit and box.

Design
The Call Button Series all feature a single part Polycarbonate/ABS fascia. RFID functionality on the unit is indicated by the presence of
the symbol and indentation shown on the left hand side of the product. The product also features metal buttons with ring
illumination- which fades in and out during idle operation of the unit in a “heartbeat” manner. The illumination of each button is
matched to its call level and the button is labelled with the appropriate icon which is used throughout the range. If the unit is activated
the appropriate button will then flash until it is reset at which point it will return to its “heartbeat” status. The omission of any
apertures for keys - as well as the single piece convex design fascia and metal buttons mean that the P2 Call Button series is well
suited to deployment in harsh environments.
