A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Production Department at the Head Office of a successful, and growing, electronics manufacturer. Seeking a friendly, ambitious, and motivated team player to join a vibrant and busy department, who they will be responsible for supporting.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Manufacturing of Pinpoint equipment
Testing manufactured equipment
Input of data to systems, to process, manufacture and keep records correct Engraving Machine operation
UV Printer operation
Bench Drill operation
Use of hand tools
Maintaining a safe and tidy Production area
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES:
Knowledge of electronics manufacturing
Soldering ability
Mechanical/engineering knowledge
Problem solving ability.
(On-the-job training will be provided)

Job Title STORES AND PURCHASING ASSISTANT

The Stores & Purchasing Assistant will be responsible to the Senior Stores & Purchasing Manager and will be required to assist him in all areas of the Stores Department.
The Stores & Purchasing Assistant will be based at our Head Office in Leven, Fife.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Manufacturing of Pinpoint equipment
Testing manufactured equipment
Accurately picking and processing of parts prior to issue to Production Team for assembly.
Picking, processing, packing, and shipping sales orders from stock.
Maintaining accurate records of goods shipped.
Maintaining adequate levels of packing/shipping materials.
Receiving and processing goods in from Suppliers.
General stores duties.
Action Pinpoint Engineers spares requests from our Priority Service office (PPS) in a timely manner.
Provide Point of Delivery (POD) on shipments when requested.
Assist in annual stock check in June (100%) to be undertaken over the weekends to negate stock movement during counting.
Liaise with Production Team Leader on priority/status of products to be assembled.
Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery schedule on outstanding orders.
Shipping of parts/equipment to customers to meet installation dates as directed.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES:
Competency in written and spoken English.
Ability to work on their own or as part of a team.
Ability to work to and meet deadlines.
Computer literate.
Ability to follow technical instructions.
A flexible attitude to work
Able to show initiative when required.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Have a comprehensive understanding of stores procedures and processes.
Problem-solving ability
Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and electronic components.
