Pinpoint is exhibiting at Design in Mental Health 2023
30 Nov 2023
Pinpoint is returning to the Design in Mental Health Conference in June this year, to showcase its award-winning staff attack systems.
Now in its 10th year, Design in Mental Health is the UK’s leading event focusing on the design, construction, refurbishment, and clinical provision of mental health environments.
After the success of last year, Pinpoint is once again heading to Coventry on the 7th and 8th of June to display their revolutionary P2 System and join the conversation around the safe design of mental health facilities.
P2 by Pinpoint
Guests at the event will have the chance to view and test the P2 System, the latest evolution in Pinpoint’s award-winning staff safety systems. With enhanced functionality, increased durability and a more contemporary design, P2 by Pinpoint offers maximum security to healthcare workers at risk of violence.
Discreet, easy-to-use, and highly efficient, P2 personal attack alarms alert responders to the exact location of a call within milliseconds, reassuring staff of their safety by reducing the threat of abuse.
Studies repeatedly show high rates of violence toward mental health workers. A 2017 UNISON survey found two out of five NHS mental health workers were abused by patients each year. Six years on, little has improved, with the pandemic, staff shortages and long waiting lists exacerbating aggression toward staff.
Today’s healthcare designers are tasked with building secure mental health environments that support the patient’s recovery and minimise risk of harm to all. Pinpoint’s staff attack systems play a vital part in this.
Attendees to Design in Mental Health 2023 will be able to chat with Pinpoint’s expert team about the safety systems on offer and talk through which solution is most suitable for their working environment.
Existing Pinpoint customers will also have the chance to try out the new Quick Quote portal, where users can order quotes for their Pinpoint System to be delivered straight to their inbox.
Should a client need a new PIT, lanyard, or Pinpoint battery, they can simply visit the Quick Quote portal, select the items needed and request a quote. A quote will be generated within 24 hours and a member of Pinpoint’s team will be in touch to process the order.
Pinpoint will also run a prize raffle for attendees to participate in. And, as last year’s winner went away with a state-of-the-art drone, visitors can expect great things!
